Panelists will discuss the basic elements of litigating a construction dispute from the pleading stage through fact and expert discovery. Panelists will discuss motions to compel arbitration, arbitrator selection, and navigating arbitration rules and procedures. Panelists will offer practice tips for drafting effective discovery requests and navigating voluminous document productions. Finally, panelists will provide guidance on understanding and asserting common contractual defenses, selecting experts, and cross-examination of a plaintiff’s experts.
