Presenter: Sharon D. Stuart, President & Claims Counsel

Overview: In the cybersecurity field, there are two types of hackers: black hats that break into systems, steal information, manipulate data and compromise security. White hats are “ethical hackers.” They’re often employed by the government and big corporations to protect data from black hats. They are the penetration testers. Join Sharon for a peek inside the spy vs spy world of protecting client and firm data – and the ethical ground that lawyers must defend while all of this is playing out.

This course or a portion thereof has been approved by the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Commission of Alabama for a maximum of 1 hours’ credit, including 1 hour of ethics.
