ADLA Members:
As you may be aware, ADLA leaders were appointed to the newly formed Alabama State Bar COVID-19 Civil Litigation Task Force. The task force is looking for input from the ADLA membership on the following items:
- Suggestions to temporary or permanent rule changes that could help ease potential backlog and get more civil cases tried.
- Proposed solutions on how to conduct jury trials with social distancing guidelines in effect.
The task force is on a tight timeline, so it’s essential that you submit your suggestions as soon as possible. Please email your suggestions to adla@adla.org no later than 5:00 pm on Fri., April 24th. We will compile all responses and submit them to the task force ASB COVID-19 at one time for consideration.
