Southeastern Women Litigators Conference
Women litigators in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee are teaming up again to support, educate and advance women civil defense litigators at the 2nd Southeastern Women Litigators Conference (SEWL) from March 22-23, 2023, at the Sonesta in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Events will kick off on Wednesday evening with a networking reception and casual wine pairings dinner. For those staying over Thursday night, there will be a golf clinic on Friday morning. Both the dinner and clinic will be separately ticketed events (not included in the registration fee).
The conference will cover a broad range of topics, including enhancing business development skills, coping with imposter syndrome and burnout, refining trial and presentation skills, mentoring, becoming a successful young lawyer, focusing on diversity and inclusion, and more. We’ll even have lawyers from The Mother Board podcast broadcasting live from the conference.

This course or a portion thereof has been approved by the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Commission of Alabama for a maximum of 6 hours’ credit.
Conference Refunds/Cancellations Policy: No refunds after Friday, March 9th. Substitutions may be made in the event of an individual cancellation.

The registration fee will be $295 early bird before March 3, and $395 after that date. Again, Thursday’s dinner and Friday’s golf clinic will be ticketed separately (pricing TBD).
The conference coincides with the Hilton Head Island Wine and Food Festival, running from March 19-26. Tickets for that can be purchased here.
