Having participated in numerous mediations, we have had the chance to observe many different styles and approaches to the mediation process.  This presentation comes from our experiences about what works, and what doesn’t, in mediation.  We trust that you will find our recommendations to be straightforward and reasonable.  They should help improve the odds that your next mediation will be a  successful one!

Jim served as a trial judge in the Civil Division of the 10th Judicial Circuit of Alabama from 2013 to 2025.  During those years of service, he presided over thousands of civil cases, from small claims to complex, multi-party litigation.
