Canceled: ADLA August Annual Meeting at Ross Bridge Resort

Due to ongoing issues related to the pandemic, ADLA is canceling its summer meeting, which had been rescheduled for August 14th and 15th, 2020 at the Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa in Hoover, Alabama. Based upon the Amended Statewide Order concerning COVID precautions, we have determined that having an in-person seminar in August presents an unnecessary risk to our judges, speakers, exhibitors, and attendees. It was our belief that based upon limitations, we would not be able to put on the type of seminar and conference that our attendees are accustomed to.
Since this is the second time we have had to cancel the seminar, we will not be attempting to reschedule an in-person seminar this calendar year. However, we are actively pursuing the possibility of providing a virtual Annual Meeting seminar for our members sometime in September or October of this year. Details on the August Annual Membership Business Meeting and board elections are still being finalized; we will update you as soon as we have more information.
If you already have a hotel reservation at the Ross Bridge Resort and Spa, the hotel will automatically cancel your reservation because it was booked within the meeting room block. If you wish to travel still and stay at Ross Bridge over the same weekend, please contact Melissa Chambers at Melissa.Chambers@
