The ADLA Nominating Committee and Young Lawyers Section Nominating Committee are now seeking nominations for the following positions, which will be voted on at the Membership Business Meeting held in conjunction with the 2022 Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 18th at the Lodge at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

If applicable, include the nominee’s previous ADLA activities and service. Past involvement in ADLA is preferred, but not required. NEW! Young Lawyers Section Chair and District Director Nomination Process
- Nominations will be required for each position in 2022 (all current YLS board members & district directors must be nominated);
- Beginning in 2023, chair positions will rotate up each year with only the 3rd Vice-Chair being open for nominations;
- Nominations for District Director positions will be accepted every two years;
- YLS Nominating Committee will review nominations and recommend the candidates to fill the vacancies on the YLS Board of Directors;
- The purpose of re-structuring the YLS leadership positions is to offer young lawyer members opportunities to rotate into leadership roles quicker, providing a path forward to serve in higher leadership roles within ADLA and encourage activity in the section;
- The YLS leadership re-structure was approved by the YLS Board of Directors and ADLA Board of Directors
