Webinar Summary: The Smaller they Are, The Bigger the Falls: The Unique World of Pediatric Biomechanics is a one-hour course designed to help participants understand the unique characteristics of pediatric populations and how these affect biomechanical response and injury potential. This seminar will introduce the audience to the differences seen in humans throughout growth and development, from newborn to skeletally mature or adulthood. The course will also provide examples on how the differences between pediatric and adult populations are quantified, with a special focus on understanding which scenarios represent increased injury potential for pediatric populations.
This course or a portion thereof has been approved by the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Commission of Alabama for a maximum of 1 hour’s credit.
